The most popular neutral item of patch 7.38 has been revealed

Gale Guard is now the most used neutral item in Dota 2 matchmaking since patch 7.38, with over 2.5 million uses.

We should point out that the item was first added during patch 7.38 and it became popular very quickly. The new Tier 3 Artifact added in this patch comes with a very useful ability, Cyclonic Shield, which creates a shield around the hero, greatly boosting survivability.

Its closest competitor is Serrated Shiv, which is another new Tier 3 item in patch 7.38. The specialization of this item is damage which functions best when fighting Roshan, and this item has been crafted slightly fewer than 2.5 million.
