TSM's Dota 2 roster failed to advance from The International 2022 in October, despite being one of the best teams in the world. The organization also lost its name sponsor when the cryptocurrency exchange FTX went under in November, thus the team began the roster-shuffle season with some alterations. Even though the squad and organization have had a difficult few of months, they are still pursuing their Dota 2 endeavors, and MoonMeander will continue to play a role in those endeavors as head coach. The former captain of TSM spoke to the fans today about his desire to mentor young, competitive players and how excited he was to work with TSM as the upcoming DPC season approaches.
Positions four and five on the team are still open due to MoonMeander taking over as head coach at TSM. TSM parted company with Dubu in November, and as the roster lock deadline draws near, the club is set to reveal their full 2023 lineup in the following days.
TSM is one of the last household companies in the North American Dota 2 sector after Evil Geniuses relocated its Dota 2 activities to South America. Fans of Dota 2 are happy to see TSM demonstrating their commitment to the scene, given their aim to take part in "every Tier One esport." The NA scene may be overwhelmed in terms of the number of participating organizations, but the region still displays an immense level of talent, making the NA DPC a year-round fun.
