Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov stated that
Team Spirit were considering several players to replace him. According to the pro player's statement, he expected the team to choose a more experienced candidate than Alexander “Rue” Filin.
The pro-player shared his respective opinion in a private Twitch broadcast.
“There were a couple options out there. I thought there was going to be a more experienced dude, but he ... Got his own stories in there, can't tell you yet. Very funny story.”
The player also stated that organizations do not consider age, but the form of the cyber athlete when selecting new players. According to Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov, it is not beneficial to reject a candidate with a high rank because such a player will be able to strengthen another team.
“It doesn't matter what age you are, it's important what form you have. These are all excuses. If you're in the top 10 - it doesn't matter how old you are - you'll be taken. The team won't have a choice. If you're not picked, you're going to take out the team that didn't take you. That's how the market works.”
By replacement Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov on the fourth position, Alexander “Rue” Filin played in
Yellow Submarine - the junior squad of
Team Spirit manager Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov.
Recall that earlier Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov said that he would not return to the active roster of
Team Spirit, if the new players can show a decent result.
