Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov, playing for
Team Spirit, made a surprising statement that Riyadh Masters 2024 is currently more important to him than The International, as the prize pool there might be higher than at the Dota 2 World Championship.
The aforementioned was mentioned by her in an interview on YouTube with commentator and analyst Alexey “STORM” Tumanov.
"I prioritize Riyadh Masters 2024 right now. For example, if TI had a prize pool of $3.5 million and Riyadh Masters 2024 had $5 million instead, then it is very obvious that Riyadh Masters 2024 takes the first priority. However, what would happen if both prize pools were equal? Then TI of course. TI has much history compared to them. Nevertheless, if even one dollar more came in for Riyadh Masters 2024, then it could become a priority"
He admitted that TI13 is undoubtedly more significant historically, but money matters more. Therefore, if the World Championship doesn't have a substantial prize pool this year, Riyadh Masters 2024 remains the priority for the
Team Spirit player.
It is worth noting that Mira previously stated that he regretted his conflict with Alexander "Nix" Levin, realizing the mistake he had made.
