Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov, an
Aurora support, revealed that due to a critical Dota 2 bug, they found themselves in a losing position on the decisive map against
PARIVISION. They did not agree with PGL's decision to play as is, which is why they quit the game.
The two-time Dota 2 World Champion told about it in his Telegram channel.
“1. Playing with a critical bug that increases the additional cost of the buyback from 20% to 40%
2. There is a situation in which we all press buybacks, and Egor simply does not press the button. He pauses.
3. admins say that valv recognized that this is a bug dota and it will be fixed
4. of solutions offer to continue to play as is)
5. We suggest to make reload the game 20 seconds before the fight with the understanding that this bug exists and do not set up think on the pack or rmk first
6. Their solution is to ask the parry to stand back for 90 seconds while doom is dead(magnus and warlock have already clicked buyback) They will just come back in 90 seconds and pikofnite the hero in leithe without buyback.
7. A game with a bug and a decision not in our favor puts us at a maximum disadvantage and we don't agree with that”
Mira emphasized that even Valve recognized the situation with Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko's buyback, which cost 40% more, as a critical bug. Nevertheless, PGL offered to continue playing this way, but
PARIVISION players had to step back. The cybersport player explained that this decision by the PGL Wallachia Season 4 organizers and the critical bug put the players at a severe disadvantage.
This is why, Mira stated,
Aurora decided to withdraw from the match, as they disagreed with PGL's decision. In the end, this led to
PARIVISION winning the match, while their opponents fell to the bottom of the tournament.
