Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov has become the only
Team Spirit player who is incredibly active in Dota 2 matchmaking following the team's elimination from The International 2024. It is possible that the esports athlete might be preparing for roster changes.
Mira’s activity in matchmaking is evidenced by data from Dota2ProTracker.
While Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov, Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naydenov, and Denis "Larl" Sigitov have not played any matches, and Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk has played just one, Mira has already participated in 11 public games. This is quite unusual, considering that three of his teammates have likely not logged into Dota 2 after their defeat at TI13.
This behavior may indirectly suggest that the two-time world champion could be preparing for potential roster changes in the team. Although
Team Spirit has not yet made any official statements about replacements, analysts believe that changes might occur following The International 2024.
Moreover, Mira’s unusual behavior could also complement his earlier hints about potentially leaving the team in the next Dota 2 season. However, it is also possible that the champion is playing actively in Dota 2 to cope with the accumulated stress, as the loss at the tournament was particularly challenging for the team.
Previously, Mira made a controversial statement that could hint at him not playing for
Team Spirit in the next Dota 2 season.
