Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov said that he does not see it as some невероятное событие, but he is pleased to set a Dota 2 world record together with
Aurora by achieving the longest win streak in history.
The two-time world champion shared this in the club’s Telegram channel.
“Hello everyone. Today we beat BetBoom Team 2:0, it was the group stage of DreamLeague. We set some new world record, 22 series in a row won. Very nice. I wouldn’t say that it is some huge event for me personaly, but it’s just nice to understand that we are in good shape and everything is fine. We will try to keep this record for longer, and we will try to win every series. Support us. By the way, an interesting fact: the previous record was mine too”
Mira noted that he is happy to set the record and hopes they will continue winning on the Dota 2 pro scene. He also mentioned an interesting fact that the previous record also belonged to him.
As part of
Team Spirit, he indeed helped the club win 21 series in a row, which for a long time was the world record. Nevertheless
Aurora managed to set a new bar after defeating
BetBoom Team, and now the streak continues, at least for now.
