The meta in Dota 2 has changed again: the best heroes for climbing MMR

Three weeks after the conclusion of The International 2024, the meta in Dota 2 has changed again. The picks of professional players may have influenced draft trends, as many heroes gained popularity following the championship.
Best Carry
Nature's Prophet has once again emerged as the top choice for carry, boasting an impressive 53.6% win rate in Dota 2 matchmaking. Following closely is
Windranger, who may soon climb to the top spot due to her effectiveness in matches.
Best Mid
The undisputed leader is Sand King, who can brag about a 55% win rate. He has outperformed his nearest competitors by several percentage points and is currently the best choice for players in the mid lane. His popularity may have been influenced by Quinn "Quinn" Callahan, who played this hero in TI13.
Best Offlaner
Sand King also dominates the offlane, where his win rate stands at 53.8%.
Legion Commander has also proven to be a strong contender in terms of effectiveness. Additionally,
Centaur Warrunner has made a return to the meta, becoming popular in matchmaking.
Best Position Four
Given the lack of patches, it’s no surprise that the undisputed leader among support positions is Ringmaster. His win rate of 58.4% is truly impressive, and currently, few heroes can compete with the imba of the current meta.
Best Position Five
The situation for full support is similar, with Ringmaster again dominating, but his win rate in the five position is slightly lower at 57%. His only competitor in this role is Treant Protector, who has also performed excellently as a support.
Recall that earlier, Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk mentioned the strongest build for easy victories in Dota 2.
