Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg noted a significant decline in Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets’s play at the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 CS2 tournament.
The analyst made this statement on YouTube.
“This is definitely the kind of tournament after which you can say that Donk didn’t live up to expectations.
There were simply moments in this grand final where I saw Donk get into firefights that he used to win with nearly 100% certainty, but now that’s not happening.
That said, you can still see how polished his aim is. That’s exactly why he’s still capable of pulling off incredible frags. But he no longer has the same level of consistency he had before the Major in Cologne. Up until that point, he looked like the undisputed best player in the world.”
According to Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg, during this tournament, the esports player lost in situations that would previously have been guaranteed to end in his favor. Nevertheless, the analyst also acknowledged that despite a decline in Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets’s form, the player still demonstrates very precise aim.
As a reminder, Duncan “Thorin” Shields previously commented on the decline in Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets’s form.
