Mark “Mangekyou” Kharlamov explained that in Dota 2 you can gain MMR even if you lose 50% of matches, thanks to the difference in the rating accrual.
The cyber athlete told about this during a broadcast on Twitch.
“Up to six thousand rating you choose the main role and spam 1-2 heroes. This will be enough. Looked at a guide on any hero, went to play on it. You need to consistently play on strong heroes and you will boost your rating. Because in Dota the system works like this: for a win you get 26 MMR, and for a loss you get 24. That is, if you play 100 games 50/50, you will get 100 plus rating”
According to him, for a victory in Dota 2 gives 26 points MMR, and for a defeat is removed 24. He noted that even if you lose 50 matches out of 100, the player will still be plus 100 MMR. According to him, if you pick strong heroes, then in the end you can easily gain 6 thousand MMR thanks to such a gentle system from Valve.
Recall that earlier Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov made a loud statement about
Aurora.
