Malr1ne spoke about a serious kidney disease

Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak stated that he has congenital hydronephrosis, which means that one of his kidneys is unable to function properly and is twice its normal size.

The player spoke about this on Twitch.

"I have a congenital kidney disease. I have a kidney, and it is of standard size. It performs two functions, if I'm not mistaken: blood circulation and urinary function. I've had this disease since birth, I don't know why, it just happened by default.

And my kidney is enlarged. There are channels from the kidney to the bladder, and in my left kidney, these channels are compressed by vessels that also go to the kidney. And because it's compressed there, I have constant pressure. Because of this, there is a malfunction, let's call it that. Because of this, my kidney is enlarged."

According to Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, the condition of his problematic kidney gradually worsened, but the player learned about the problem at the age of 18 and decided not to take any action. As a result of prolonged neglect of the problem, the affected organ has almost completely lost its functionality and cannot be treated, but doctors advised the esports player not to interfere with the body's work while his condition is stable.

"And over time, over the years, it grew and grew, and it got worse and worse. It got to the point where I found out about it at the age of 18 and ignored it. As a result, my kidney died. It just doesn't function. I talked to the doctors: to save it or not to save it, to remove it or not. They said: if it doesn't hurt, don't touch it, but the kidney can't be saved, it's almost not working. It's working at 1-2% capacity."

Earlier, Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak talked about how he abused sweets while playing for Nemiga Gaming.
