Malr1ne revealed the true reason for his scandalous behavior at Dota 2 tournaments

Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak, in fact, confessed to using trash talking during tournaments not because he doesn’t like them personally or is toxic but only to distract his opponents and improve his own winning prospects.

He did so through a blog post on BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 that was recently shared on YouTube.

"I just wanted to do it. I don't smile, I don't draw attention to it. Why do I do this? Just mental pressure. Even if I don't tilt the opponent, he will still be distracted by it"

Rather, as Team Falcons player stressed out, his apparent poisonous behavior at Dota 2 competitions is a psychological strategy aimed to irritate rivals and also distract them from playing the game. According to him, even if he fails to tilt the opponent, it is still possible for him to get distracted with messages in general chat favoring his side which benefits his team.

Let’s remember that earlier Malr1ne set a new record at Dota 2 and practically broke another one today.
