Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak stated that in most esports organizations, prize money is split evenly between the club and the players.
The player discussed this on Twitch.
“I won’t say—that’s internal information. Let me put it this way: the organization itself works out the details with the players—who gets what percentage. I don’t know if there are teams like that now, but there used to be teams that took the entire prize pool, though that was balanced out by your salary. I’ve heard that before. Nowadays, most places just split it evenly.”
According to Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, in most esports clubs, organizations negotiate the distribution of prize money with the players. However, the player is aware of cases where an esports organization kept all the prize money for itself, compensating for this with high player salaries.
As a reminder, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov previously commented on Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak’s future career.
