Abdimalik "Malik" Sailau, the new offlaner for
Team Spirit, stated that he cannot yet say whether he will continue playing for the team, even though he previously mentioned that the roster would undoubtedly choose Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov over him.
The esports player shared this during an interview with BLAST TV.
- What are your plans after Collapse's return? "I want to stay on the pro scene and will look for a team"
- What if Spirit offers you to stay? "I would gladly keep playing for the team, but I can’t answer that question right now. Only time will tell what’s in store for me"
This comes as a surprise, as the player had previously stated that
Team Spirit values Collapse higher, leaving him with no chance of remaining in the lineup. However, it is currently unclear what position Malik would play if Collapse returns.
There has also been no official statement about Collapse's return, which, according to plans, is expected to happen in January 2025.
It’s worth noting that Collapse recently returned to Dota 2 after a three-month hiatus.
