In a recent interview during DreamLeague Season 25, Arman “Malady” Orazbayev, the new
Gaimin Gladiators support player, revealed that he was brought in to fill Seleri’s vacancy due to his friendship with Watson Islambekov.
- The main reason you ended up in Gladiators is because you've known Watson for several years?
- Yes, Watson and I are close friends. We played together in Hellraisers and spent a lot of time together, enjoying the moment. We always wanted to play together, but our paths kept diverging.
Towards the latter part of the snippet, he mentions that his friendship with the carry from
Gaimin Gladiators extends for a long period of time considering that they always wanted to be on the same team together. From hearing Malady’s, it seems as though Watson is the one who called for his inclusion in the roster.
Although it is a bit out of the norm for him to have played for a WEU region team, Malady stated that he enjoys it. He even voluntarilly participated in drafts and claimed to have thrown a couple of ideas to Quinn Callahan that led to the team winning their first few games.
Not too long ago
Team Spirit had made a bit of noise by announcing Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov's removal from
Gaimin Gladiators.
