Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov reported that his Steam account was hacked while
BetBoom Team was competing in the XSE Pro League 2026 Counter-Strike 2 tournament.
The player addressed the issue on Telegram.
“I’ll tell you a little about the issue that happened today. My account was hacked. I didn’t click on any phishing links or log in to any websites. I only accessed the Steam practice mode and the SSD setup. I think these are related to the loss of my account. I can’t point the finger at anyone specifically, but the facts speak for themselves. I think it’s all connected.
If anyone is messaging on behalf of my account, please be careful. Thank you all so much for your support. I hope my account will be restored and that I’ll regain access to it as soon as possible. I’ll be sure to let everyone know.”
According to a statement by Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov, the esports player did not take any reckless actions that could have led to the hack, but he logged into his account twice during the XSE Pro League 2026 tournament, which he believes is linked to the theft.
As a reminder, Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov previously summarized
BetBoom Team’s performance at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 CS2 tournament.
