Magixx Addressed His Teammates After Team Spirit’s Victory at the Esports World Cup 2026

Boris “Magixx” Vorobyov stated that Team Spirit players need to be aware of their profesionalism and avoid creating unnecessary problems for themselves during the game.

The captain’s address to his teammates following the Esports World Cup 2026 grand final was posted on YouTube.

“You need to realize that you are skilled CS players. We’ve made the game much harder on ourselves time and again—not just in this match against FUT. We need to realize this and capitalize on the fact that we’re strong, rather than getting worked up. At least two of my teamates got way too emotional during the game. That’s unnecesary. I understand that frustration, but we have the skill to dominate oponents. Maybe fatigue, lack of sleep, or insufficient preparation—that’s all nonsense. We just need to play better.

We arrived, we played—it was really tough. The coolest thing is that we had three days off. I don’t know what everyone was up to, but we recharged and started playing better. We lost to Jijiehao because we played like idiots. We weren’t thinking clearly enough. But we made it out of the group stage, barely avoiding a loss to BIG. We went into the playoffs as a strong team. I think Vitality didn’t play as well as they did two months ago, but we still had some great moments, and when we didn’t play so well, we just laughed it off, to put it bluntly.

But overall—kudos to them for improving their gameplay compared to how they played in the group stage.”

Acording to Boris “Magixx” Vorobyov, the roster includes players who are too emotional and need to rely on their professionalism and not give up during tough moments. Nevertheless, the Team Spirit captain acknowledged that in the Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs, the team was able to significantly improve its preparation compared to the group stage.
