Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov said that the probability of bugs during matches should be written in the rules of tournaments to avoid situations like the
Aurora-
PARIVISION match at PGL Wallachia Season 4.
The Dota 2 commentator wrote in his Telegram channel.
“Offensive thing, but still need some universal solution to such a thing. And I see only one - to recognize such things for the rules of the game FOREVER. If such a rules clause is included beforehand, it would simplify a lot of things. I'll stipulate right off the bat that it's very frustrating. The affected team will always be sorry, but it's a game”
Maelstorm specified that such a decision seems to be a shame for the injured party, but such situations cannot be avoided and a new rule would simplify the situation. The commentator also noted that the occurrence of a critical bug is not the fault of the organizers, and can not dramatically affect the situation.
In his opinion, if the game broke down through no fault of the organizers or players, the only thing that can be done is to continue the match, although it may sound unfair.
Recall that earlier
Aurora refused to continue playing against
PARIVISION and withdrew from the match due to a critical bug.
