Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov, a Dota 2 commentator, spoke about the problems Gaimin Gladiators are facing after the departure of Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov. According to him, the team lost its fanbase and support following the player's kick.

He stated that Dyrachyo's departure was a real blow to the club's fanbase. According to Maelstorm, even if the team with the new roster wins tournaments, it still won't bring back the fans' support. Furthermore, he claimed that there is now a wave of hate directed at the roster for even the slightest mistake.
