Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov, who is a Dota 2 commentator and analyst, revealed that the game’s forthcoming patch might be out by May 9th.
In his Telegram channel, he shared this information stating that it was unofficial and based on speculations hence people should not believe it wholly.
Nonetheless, he said that such eventuality still looms large. It is worth remembering that this date coincides with the break between competitions just one day prior to PGL Wallachia Season 1 which starts on May 10th.
Valve has been mute in relation to whether this tournament could already be played under patch 7.36 Previously Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov explained why Dota 2’s latest major update Crownfall had no accompanying release of the patch 7.36
