Maelstorm named the best players in Dota 2 history

Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov named the best players in each position throughout the history of Dota 2's pro scene.

He shared his picks during an interview on the YouTube channel HardBass TV.

According to Maelstorm, these are the top players who have excelled in their positions on the Dota 2 pro scene. Notably, many on his list are still competing and performing well in matches.

Best players in each position:

• Carry: Yatoro, Miracle, Matumbaman, Burning, Illidan.

• Mid: Dendi, Miracle, Topson, Malr1ne, Vigoss.

• Position 4: Xinq, Lil, Rodjer, GH, Yapz0r.

• Position 5: Puppey, Kuroky, Miposhka, N0tail, Faith.

However, some fans disagreed with the commentator's selection, arguing that Dota 2 has changed significantly and that players from Dendi's era cannot match the skill of the new generation.
