Maelstorm identified the main reason behind the struggles of Team Spirit's new roster

Dota 2 commentator Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov noted that after a strong start, Team Spirit has stagnated and will not be able to improve further because there is a roster change coming with Collapse coming back to Team Spirit.

He further supported this opinion on the Telegram channel as follows:

‘’I still do not feel I am able to judge Spirit fully because for the simple reason that Collapse is coming back in the team and Malik will be gone while they themselves said this. This in my opinion is the reason why they are struggling to improve as they should. Maybe this is just me- but as it so, right now, they are but a ghost of the Spirit which is the way they should be looking!’’

Maelstorm also observed that the team featuring offlaner Abdimalik ‘‘Malik’’ Sailau cannot develop the right way because there is no way to develop the style because everyone knows they will always be changed for the second collapse. He also added that there is no point in expecting this roster to perform at a very high level any time soon as this is not the same original star lineup that the fans are used to.

It is also interesting to note that Maelstorm had earlier stated that Team Spirit may be setting up a second Dota 2 roster.
