Maelstorm blamed the person responsible for Team Falcons defeat

In Maelstorm’s opinion, the carry player of Team Falcons, Oliver “Skiter” Lepko performed poorly on the first map against Tundra Esports which is why they lost the match.

He posted this on his Telegram channel for Dota 2 commentaries.

“I don’t like to pin it all on one person but today their carry let them down big time in game one”

Maelstorm didn’t clarify what he meant exactly however this series was the first time Team Falcons have lost at ESL One Birmingham 2024 where they went out with a score of 2-1 in favour of Tundra Esports. They were then moved to lower bracket where they would play next round.

This caught many off guard seeing as how this line-up was supposed to be a favorite and main contender for winning it all according to most viewers and analysts.

It should be noted that Team Falcons already secured a spot at Riyadh Masters 2024 after gaining enough points from ESL One Birmingham 2024.
