M0NESY Reveals What He Would Be Doing If He Hadn't Become a Counter-Strike 2 Pro

Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov believes he would have become a translator if he hadn’t started a career in professional Counter-Strike 2.

The player shared his thoughts on Telegram.

“I think I would have become a translator. I also wanted to be a doctor when I was a kid—my whole family are doctors. I started learning English back in school. I even took extra classes after school, just to learn.”

According to Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, the esports player also considered a career in medicine, since everyone in his family pursued such a career, but he had these thoughts as early as preschool. Nevertheless, he actively studied English in after-school classes.

“I wanted to be a translator, but back when I wasn’t in school yet, I thought about becoming a doctor because my whole family are doctors.”
