M0NESY carried the match with just 0.3 seconds left before the bomb explosion

Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, sniper for Team Falcons, delivered one of the most intense clutches of the entire CS2 tournament, saving his team literally in the final moments before the bomb exploded.

The key moment happened on Nuke with the score at 14:15. Falcons had already lost one map in the series, so losing the round would mean instant elimination from the championship. In the deciding moment, m0NESY and kyousuke were left in a 2v4 situation against FURIA Esports after the bomb was planted.

The sniper managed to turn the round around after a series of quick trades and eventually found himself in a 1v1 duel against the legendary Gabriel Toledo. Osipov threw a smoke onto the site, started a fake defuse, and waited for his opponent to peek, knowing there was almost no time left.

After winning the duel, m0NESY managed to defuse the bomb with only 0.383 seconds left before the explosion. The pressure was so insane that right after the round he covered his face with his hands at the PC. He himself could barely believe he managed to save the match in the very last milliseconds.

This clutch allowed Team Falcons to stay alive in the match and avoid an instant elimination from the tournament.
