The teams participating in The International 2024 that finish in the last places on the final tournament table might receive only around $25,000.
If the prize distribution at TI13 follows the same pattern as last year, the teams that finish in 13th to 16th place could expect approximately 1% of the prize pool, which currently stands at $2,350,919. As it stands, the losing teams might receive around $23,509. However, since this year’s tournament features only 16 teams instead of 20, Valve may redistribute the prize pool differently, possibly allowing the lower-placing teams to earn slightly more.

The winners of the world championship can currently expect approximately $1,057,913, which is significantly less than the top prize at Riyadh Masters 2024, where
Gaimin Gladiators earned $1,500,000.
The extremely slow growth of The International 2024 prize pool is attributed to the underwhelming sales of the Compendium 2024, which has disappointed Dota 2 fans and esports players alike.
