Ilya «Lil» Ilyuk, support of VP.Prodigy, commented on the team's results at OGA Dota PIT Season 3: EU/CIS on his Telegram channel.
We took the top-2 of Dota Pit, losing to Team Secret in the grand finals. As for me, it is quite a decent result, as for a mix that has not played a single practice game. Personally, I estimate my game (as a stand-in for one tournament) as “satisfactory”. Still, a competitive high-tier Dota is primarily a game "for the team" and "to win", not for cda and highlights. And if, playing on support, your core asks you to go to reveal the smoke and die to give farm - you go and do it! I think I coped with this task.
Generally speaking, I experienced a real pleasure playing Dota these 4 days, and this is exclusively thanks to the guys. For a long time, there was no such thing that when entering Dota I felt absolute confidence in each teammate, that everyone will press the right buttons, give the necessary focus, confidence that the team will have a plan and we will know what to do and how to do at any time games regardless of anything. And all this is backed up by a super positive, unobtrusive atmosphere. These were the very games when you can say 0 words per game and not do anything supernatural and ultimately win. In a word - the buzz. If we talk about the guys, each of them is a huge fellow, and I believe that they have much more potential than any team in which I have ever played. (If / when they make the roster they want) And this is so, not only because each of them has several accounts with 10k mmr (and 2 with 11k) and they live the game, but because they are first of all friends. Those friends who enjoy each other, and who live in their own separate world, which is beautiful in its own way)) Big respect to you guys.
OGA Dota PIT Season 3: Europe/CIS was held online from September 20 - 26, where 8 teams competed for a prize pool of $170,000.
