The midlaner for
Team Spirit, Denis "Larl" Sigito has said that he will contemplate taking a break after The International 2025 if his performance deteriorates, and will even retire from the team, and the game entirely, if he is unhappy with his performance.
He stated this during an interview with eScoreNews.
“After TI, I will think about it. Everything depends on how I play. My logic is that if I see myself underperforming, and I do not like how I am playing, there will be no point of embarrassing myself so I will retire from the game. I will take a break and maybe after some time, I will feel like playing again. I will have to see how things are, but if things are very, bad, I will just stop and do something else. For now, I have this feeling that I can still play normally and help”
He confessed that he wanted to take a break after winning several tournaments and claiming victory at The International 2025, wishing to go out on a high. Furthermore, he also emphasized that currently he is not in a position to take a break from or leave the team.
Larl underlined that he is not certain he will come back to pro after he takes a break. In his words, it is the core of the problem – his contribution. If he is done contributing, he does not want to be a weight on the team.
As a small flashback, Larl explained how he used a bug and later apologized for it.
