Denis “Larl” Sigitov stated that the matches in the qualifiers for The International 2026 were not easy for
Team Spirit.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
“The first map against VP.Prodigy was a bit nerve-wracking because it was the first game of the series. Plus, they played well. A lot of teams are struggling. You can’t say these are exactly easy matches. PARIVISION played against 4ikibamboni—the second map was evenly matched for 20 minutes. People are giving it their all.”
According to Denis “Larl” Sigitov, his team faced difficulties in their first match against VP.Prodigy. The player acknowledged that their opponents, like many other teams, demonstrated a high level of preparation. He also spoke highly of
Nigma Galaxy’s performance, emphasizing that the recent roster changes had a positive impact on the team’s preparation.
“They played their matches well. Their games are always unpredictable. They can play well, and they can play poorly. I guess they’re playing well right now. Whenever Nigma makes roster changes, they play well for a couple of months. It’s like a buff. They brought the ‘king’ back to carry, and put Lorenof in mid.”
As a reminder, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov previously spoke about his responsibilities at
Team Spirit as an assistant coach.
