Denis "Larl" Sigitov,
Team Spirit midlaner, revealed that he doesn’t spend much of his prize money, instead saving it to eventually buy property.
The esports player shared this in an interview with Igromania.
“I don’t make big purchases; I mostly save money. When the time comes, I’ll probably just buy an apartment. I don’t plan to start a business - I think the strangest decision for a player is to go into business. It’s better to buy property and know it won’t go under. Business requires experience, after all”
Larl explained that he saves most of his prize money with the intention of purchasing an apartment. While some esports players invest in businesses, he sees it as a risky endeavor that demands expertise.
Additionally, he mentioned that he supports his family, particularly his sisters, who have always shown interest in his career and supported him. However, he admitted that he occasionally makes smaller purchases, but usually not exceeding $700.
Notably, throughout his career, Larl has earned $1.66 million in prize money, an impressive figure. Beyond tournament winnings, he also receives a salary from his team and potentially earns from sponsorship deals, which could significantly increase his net worth.
As a reminder, Larl previously explained why Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk and Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov decided to go inactive in
Team Spirit.
