Larl commented on Team Spirit's victory

Denis “Larl” Sigitov noted that in the match against Team Tidebound in the playoffs of BLAST Slam III Team Spirit had a better draft, and in the second game his team was able to show a well-coordinated game in fights.

The player shared his opinion on Telegram.

“Finished our match against Team Tidebound, won 2-0. It was pretty tough, they played well. I think we prepared for them better than they did. They surprised Huskar a little bit in the first game. Overall, I think we made the most out of that situation: we were able to make First Blood, the guys then sat somewhere in the double-mid, tried to kamback a little bit. Overall, the draft was a little bit easier for us. Huskar, Dark Seer - not very comfortable playing those heroes.

In the second game, Morphling showed up on the first pick, we thought about it a little bit, we expected that. Again, somewhere we divided them better, somewhere we overplayed in moments with Tormentor, due to this we got some advantage. Then on the map and in some teamfights with Nature's Prophet, we were able to just close out the map and win. Overall, I think we had stronger teamfights when we were rocked.”

Due to the worst result in the group stage, where Team Spirit lost 3 out of 4 matches, the team was forced to start the playoffs from the first round. Nevertheless, the team confidently defeated the first three opponents, including Team Tidebound, which Denis “Larl” Sigitov's squad faced in the quarterfinals. Today Team Spirit will have to play Team Falcons for a spot in the BLAST Slam III Grand Final.

Earlier Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naydenov commented on the victory over Team Liquid in the playoffs of BLAST Slam III.
