Denis "Larl" Sigitov, the midlaner of
Team Spirit, believes that the playstyle of
Gaimin Gladiators has indeed changed after the replacement of Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov with Alimzhan "watson" Islambekov. According to him, the team now relies less on tempo and is more focused on late-game strategies.
He shared these thoughts in a new vlog from
Team Spirit on YouTube.
"I think their 'four' playstyle hasn't changed. They still play around mid. But the carry is definitely less involved. It seems like they now have a stronger hard carry when they can't play for tempo. I think they are emphasizing that"
He noted that while the team was previously considered tempo-oriented, they now have a hard carry and can play for the late game, which they are trying to develop in their recent matches. However, Larl emphasized that he hasn't noticed any changes in the performance of Eric "Tofu" Engel.
Meanwhile, his teammate Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov expressed disappointment with
Gaimin Gladiators performances and believes that Dyrachyo's departure has indeed impacted Markus "Ace" Hellgarde.
