Largo was added to Captains Mode: the hero can be picked at Dota 2 tournaments

Along with patch 7.40c, Largo was added to the Captains Mode pool, which means the new Dota 2 hero will appear at tournaments and in official matches.

Many people in the community were shocked by this decision from Valve. The thing is, the previous hero Kez was not added to CM for almost a year, while Largo was added in less than 2 months. Most likely, the developers believe that the new character is already balanced enough, so he should fit naturally into the Dota 2 pro-scene meta.

Several pro players have also already said that they want to try Largo in official matches, noting the huge potential of a hero that is not the easiest to control.
