Largo has become the new Dota 2 hero: abilities, appearance, and character role

Valve has finally released a new hero in Dota 2, who is Largo. The character was added to the game with the release of patch 7.40 and became immediately available to players.
His page has appeared on the official Dota 2 website.
Largo’s Role in Dota 2
The hero’s description and abilities indicate that Largo is a support. This role is also reinforced by his innate ability Encore – effects that the hero applies to himself or allies last longer.
Although the hero has Strength as his primary attribute, his main role is team support. He can also participate in close combat, so he is likely to be popular in the four and five positions.
Largo’s Abilities

| Catchy Lick – Using his sticky tongue, the hero slightly pulls the target closer and applies a normal dispel, dealing damage if the target is an enemy. If even one effect is dispelled from the target, the caster temporarily gains increased health regeneration. |
| Frogstomp – The hero throws frogs into a selected area, slowing enemies in it. Every second, the frogs stomp, briefly stunning enemies and dealing damage. |
| Croak of Genius – The hero plays a melody for an ally, reducing the mana cost of their items and abilities. A portion of the damage dealt by spells is echoed back over 5 seconds. When the target spends mana, the melody’s duration is reduced by 0.5 seconds. |
| Amphibian Rhapsody – The hero begins a performance: he cannot attack, and his other abilities transform into three songs that only take effect when played in rhythm. Hitting the rhythm grants the hero one stack of Groove; missing removes a stack. Each Groove stack increases armor and reduces mana cost for songs. Once the performance ends, all Groove stacks disappear after a short delay. |

Musical Pilgrimage – This aspect has no effect. The hero has just arrived from the island of Velu’Mar.
Largo’s Appearance
Largo visually resembles Frog-Bard. His first skins will likely continue the water theme, emphasizing amphibians or other aquatic motifs.
