Korb3n suggested introducing a new role in Dota 2, similar to League of Legends

Dmitriy «Korb3n» Belov, manager of Team Spirit, stated that Dota 2 needs to add another solo role, like in League of Legends.

He talked about this during a Twitch stream.

«In Dota 2 there is lack of a role, you know… Well there is mid, but it's not interesting to me, there is no hard role where you play alone. In LoL – this is top. There he just runs alone and farms XP, I ran there, nobody killed me. This role is really missing. Not mid, mid is too skill-dependent. I myself will soon start going mid – so **** teammates on the sides, just awful. I will ruin the game for the guys in Dota. In LoL mid is not skill-dependent, so in LoL I go mid and enjoy it»

The manager explained that he misses a role for solo lovers, because teammates get annoying. According to him, to play mid well you need to be very skilled. However, in LoL, Korb3n noted, on top you can play solo without much skill.

According to him, such a system would also fit Dota 2, allowing many players to relax and enjoy the game, gaining experience in matchmaking.
