Korb3n spoke candidly about Team Spirit's loss at The International 2024 for the first time

Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the manager of Team Spirit, stated that picking Tinker in the match against Nouns was a mistake, but it was only one of the factors that led to their loss at The International 2024.

He mentioned this during a Twitch stream.

"We picked Tinker because we had played it in scrims before. It was an obvious mistake, a lapse in judgment and everything else. But we also played poorly beyond just picking Tinker. Picking Tinker was a mistake in the first game. We should have won the first game against Nouns. We could have easily won if we had played faster, more aggressively, and more quickly"

He explained that Tinker had performed well in scrims with other teams, which is why they picked it, but admitted it was a mistake. Additionally, he said that the team played poorly overall but could have won. According to Korb3n, the players lacked the tempo needed for victory, although a win was within reach if they had accelerated their gameplay.
