Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov stated that Quinn "Quinn" Callahan does not take offense at his nickname in the Russian-speaking Dota 2 community because it is not publicly used to address him at tournaments.
The corresponding statement from the
Team Spirit manager was made during a personal Twitch broadcast while responding to a question about whether the
Gaimin Gladiators midlaner is offended by his nickname.
"No, he doesn't get offended. Maybe internally somewhere, but I haven't heard him getting offended publicly. Nobody publicly calls him 'S*s*ch'. When you go to eat, nobody says, 'Hey, S*s*ch.' So, it's a debatable question."
The corresponding nickname became associated with the esports player due to his old nickname. Many Russian-speaking Dota 2 players read "CCnC" accordingly. Alexander "Nix" Levin played a special role in popularizing Callahan's nickname, as he often referred to the esports player as such in his broadcasts.
It is worth reminding that earlier, the well-known streamer Jean "Gorgc" Stefanovsky explained what prevented the current lineup of
OG from succeeding in the Dota 2 pro scene.
