Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov said that Quinn Callahan could have continued his career at
Tundra Esports or
Team Liquid after leaving
Gaimin Gladiators.
The Team Spirit manager said this during a broadcast on Twitch.
"He could have played more. To be honest, I don't really understand why Quinn left. Well, as an outsider, I don't really understand. He's a good mid laner and played well this year. He definitely still had options to play. Although maybe there weren't any options. Imagine GG and you have the opportunity to leave, where would you go? But in general, you can go to Tundra or Liquid, where else can you go? Where else can you go if we're talking about Europe?”
Korb3n noted that despite a not very successful season for
Gaimin Gladiators, Quinn played well and showed good results. The manager is confident that the player had good prospects on the pro scene and doesn't understand why he decided to leave.
According to him, the mid laner had the opportunity to continue his career at
Tundra Esports or
Team Liquid. Nevertheless, Quinn decided to end his career.
Korb3n suggested that this may be due to the fact that Quinn had a long-term contract with all the ensuing consequences.
