The manager of
Team Spirit, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, harshly commented on the issue regarding the Dota 2 roster saying that the players are “exhausted,” pointing out that during boot camps, everything is controlled; everything else is up to the players.
He provided his reasoning for the statement on a Twitch stream while participating in a question-and-answer session with the club’s supporters.
"Why do Spirit players always look so tired? Why don't you do something about their sleep and nutrition? Am I their guardian? Should I spoon feed them? That’s rather bizarre to suggest. Do you think footballers are subjugated to procedures such as specific diets? Do you think that was the reason Messi was overweight for a season or two? You have some interesting questions to say the least.
These are not our children, but grown people. There exists a preparatory phase that features something like boot camps. It is obvious that the sleep schedule, food, and all else are strictly regulated there. Beyond that, it is less, or not at all, formalized. They do what they please. Or do you want me to instruct them to sleep by 10 pm on their off?”
Korb3n highlighted, however, that during boot camps he can control their sleep, diet, and daily routine, but once they are over, he cannot. He highlighted adult team members’ capacity to make their own choices and the difficulty imposed rules on them.

Team Spirit issues while remembering Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov.
