Korb3n Declares Team Spirit a Failure, Despite Victory at The International 2026

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov believes that Team Spirit’s Dota 2 roster performed poorly last season, excluding their victory at The International 2026.

The Team Spirit manager’s statement was posted on YouTube.

“The season for Spirit was definitely bad, if you don’t count the victory at The International 2026. The season for Spirit may have been a failure, but our average finish for the season was 6th. If you were to hand out TI15 invites based on Glicko, using every possible scoring method, we’d be in the invites across the board. Yes, there were no wins this season—that’s true—but our average finish is quite high for the season. For Spirit, it’s a failure, but for any other team, it would be a good season.”

According to a statement by Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, the past season can be considered a failure when judged by the standards of an esports organization. Nevertheless, the manager believes that an average finish of sixth place would look quite good for an average team, since the roster managed to secure invitations to most of the upcoming events.

As a reminder, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov previously commented on whether Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov would remain on Team Spirit following their victory at TI15.
