Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov stated that
Aurora refused to finish the third map against
PARIVISION on PGL Wallachia Season 4 because they disagreed with the tournament operator's decision about the bug.
The player made a statement to this effect on YouTube.
“What's the point of playing this? We don't have two byes already. Why are we playing this? We don't agree with PGL's decision.”
According to a statement from Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov, the team disagreed with the tournament operator's decision because their heroes
Magnus and
Warlock were already using buybacks after a bug on
Doom that also left them without a buyback option. Additionally, the buyback on
Doom was 40% more expensive due to a bug that Valve recognized. The team had to manually calculate how much gold was needed for the buyback, which made it difficult to focus on the game. Despite the team's suggestions to fix the problem, the organizers refused to accept them.
“Well, like, you move away from our base and we have to keep playing. We don't have two buybacks on
Magnus and
Warlock, because they're already bypassed because of this situation, because
Doom got set up, and we don't have a buyback on
Doom. So we still have to somehow sit there, calculate in game how much money
Doom should have for a byback. The buyback costs 40% more, Valve has confirmed it's a bug. Why would we want to play that? We proposed several solutions, they didn't agree to it.”
Recall that earlier Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov named the team to which Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov is ideal.
