Kiritych named the real reason behind Virtus.pro's downfall

Ilya “Kiritych” Ulyanov, who plays as a carry for the eSports team Virtus.pro, said that the reason that their team lost and disbanded was the fact that some of their players exhibited selfishness which brought an end to the team.

This was something that he made mention of on his telegram account.

“In other words, we had individuals in the team who were very egocentric and did not want to change or take up more responsibilities in the game and want to help him. Therefore, a nasty tilt aura began to form, where during the first loses and the players began to shut up and the game turned into a disaster”

He also said that not accepting such big mistakes that were done in the game by his teammates during a match was a big mistake that reduced his overall performance.

“You know, when we’re losing, I start covering for my friends and instead this worsens my game. For that period I did not have enough urge, enough spirit. I should have just sufficed in covering up for the shortcomings of my friends; I should have played whatever Dota let me play”

But he is also adamant things will change for the better this year and he has announced changes in the team before saying the roster would not stay the same forever.
