Ilya 'Kiritych' Ulyanov, the carry for Virtus.pro, significantly compromised his team by catching three of his teammates in a Chronosphere. This fatal mistake led to a devastating defeat against Klim Sani4 in the first map of the qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham 2024.

At the 34-minute mark near the high ground, Virtus.pro engaged in a team fight, and Kiritych, losing ground, decided to retreat and cast Chronosphere. However, not only did he miss any enemy heroes, but he also caught three of his pro-player teammates in the ultimate. As a result, four VP players were sent to the fountain.

This blunder by the esports athlete practically handed the victory to Klim Sani4, who soon destroyed the opponents throne. As a result, the match ended with a sensational score of 2:1, where Klim Sani4 took away Virtus.pro chance to attend ESL One Birmingham 2024.
