Kiritych explained why he is blamed for all the failures of Virtus.pro

Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov, a player from Virtus.pro, admitted that throughout his career, he has been blamed for the team's losses because he plays the carry position, which is considered crucial.

He made this statement during an interview with Cybersport at the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 media day.

"Yeah, I'm used to it already. Throughout my career, when the team loses, they often blame the position one. It's quite obvious because the carry role is the main and most important in the game. And if you make a mistake, it's noticed first. Mistakes from the position five, four, three will be noticed last"

According to Kiritych, if accusations towards him used to evoke negative emotions before, now such statements motivate the Virtus.pro carry to become better.

"Before, it was unpleasant and bad for me, but now it's motivation for me to become better. I just analyze my mistakes and draw conclusions not to repeat them. Other than that, I don't react in any way"
