Kiritych commented on his friendship with Malr1ne, revealing a strange feature of Team Falcons mid

Ilya ‘Kiritych’ Ulyanov called Stanislav ‘Malr1ne’ Pothorak his best friend, saying that they found common ground right away. The cybersportsman also described himself as very squeamish, and spoke about the Team Falcons mid laner as the complete opposite.

The Virtus.pro carry shared the relevant opinion in an exclusive interview with the dota2 publishing house.

‘With Stas, we are quite close friends. I would call us best friends for sure. If Stas finds himself in trouble, I will always help him. If I find myself in trouble, he will always help me. That's what best friends are - when you can help each other at any time.

Of course I'm happy for his success. But I'm not going to fall behind him. I will catch up with him, and then I will overtake him for sure.

The nature of our friendship? It's just that we have the same vibe. We had an instant connection when we first met. When we met at the bootcamp, we had a vibe right away. We're super high and comfortable with each other, even though we're more like opposites. I'm very squeamish, and Stas is the opposite, a pig. As they say, opposites attract.’

Ilya ‘Kiritych’ Ulyanov and Stanislav ‘Malr1ne’ Potorak played together for Nemiga Gaming from May 2022 to March 2023. The first to leave the team was the current Virtus.pro carry, while Malr1ne represented the organisation until early November last year, after which he joined Team Falcons, with whom he won four major tournaments. Ilya ‘Kiritych’ Ulyanov's squad failed to show any significant results this year, leaving Riyadh Masters 2024 in 17th - 18th place.
