Valve swiftly responded to the Dota 2 community's feedback and released a new patch, 7.35b, aimed at addressing all the issues introduced by the major update. One of the key changes is the nerf to
Solar Crest and a significant weakening of
Medusa, who was previously nearly invulnerable.
This information is reported on the official Dota 2 website.
Many streamers and analysts had requested a reduction in the power of
Solar Crest, and Valve has finally implemented it. The bonuses to attributes and armor have been reduced, and the mana cost has increased. Due to this item, matches had become incredibly prolonged, and the armor of certain heroes was almost impenetrable.

Equally important is the weakening of the unkillable
Medusa build. The combination of the Mana Shield ability and
Eternal Shroud made her practically invincible, especially against magical attacks. Streamer Johan "Gorgc" Stephansson even highlighted that even highly leveled heroes couldn't deal damage to this broken build.
Streamer and former professional player Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov acknowledged that with this update, normal matchmaking games can be played again.
"In general, it looks adequate. They significantly nerfed Solar, and Dusa will hardly burn everything so easily now. This means that it seems like you can actually play"
Team Spirit analyst Mark "sikle" Lerman also welcomed Valve's changes and predicted a significant shift in the meta. Now, the constant selection of magical heroes may be complemented by strong melee heroes.
"Scatter, *****, and take Leshrac with you (I bet he loses >5% win rate, and some kind of melee hero will come in his place). You can play normal Dota now at least"
It's worth noting that Valve promptly responded to feedback on the global Dota 2 patch and released the 7.35b update.
