Alexander “Kassad” Trifunovic believes that the ostentatious lifestyle of players such as Nikola “Niko” Kovac has a negative influence on young players in the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene.
The player shared this opinion on YouTube.
"When I see Niko, Twistzz, and other players walking around with Louis Vuitton bags... If my player came to practice with a bag like that, I would kick him out immediately.
And the worst thing is that this image of a player like Niko, who has a Louis Vuitton bag, a stylish haircut, and poses on social media with whiskey and a $25,000 Rolex watch, is spreading to others — to Monesi and Kiosuke, and they are still children. This has a terrible influence."
According to Alexander “Kassad” Trifunovic, this kind of behavior from older players shapes the values of young pro players. Kassad also cited Danil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets and Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbeau as examples of players who are achieving amazing results without worrying about their appearance.
"Let me give you an example. Have you seen what Donk looks like? He looks like a coat hanger wrapped in a damn mop. He just destroys everyone in the game. Have you seen ZywOo with his belly in a tight T-shirt? He doesn't care, he doesn't want to look cool, he wants to kill people and win tournaments. And no one says that Zywoo is fat or that Donk is skinny. Everyone just watches how they play."
Earlier, Nikola “Niko” Kovač spoke about his preparation for CS2, comparing himself to Alexander ‘S1mple’ Kostylev and Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbeau.
