JW set a historic Counter-Strike 2 record

Jesper «JW» Wecksell, who plays for Eyeballers, became the first player in CS2 history to play 3,000 maps on HLTV, setting a record.

According to HLTV data, this is not his only achievement, as he has won three Majors and earned an MVP medal at one of them. Notably, he is ahead of the closest competitor by 250 maps, so breaking his record will not be easy.

Players with the most maps on HLTV:

• Tabsen (2,743 maps)

• Snax (2,710 maps)

• Karrigan (2,658 maps)

• Apex (2,587 maps)

It is worth recalling that in 2025 JW also set another record, becoming the first player to reach 50,000 frags on the CS2 pro scene.
