Jami “Jame” Ali acknowledged that the
PARIVISION Counter-Strike 2 roster lacks the consistency needed to win tournaments.
The player made this statement on Telegram.
“What can I say about today’s game? It’s one of thousands of games I’ve played. A shaky start, but by the end I felt comfortable. If our opponents had made different decisions, the game would have been tough too.
We still lack consistency. We shouldn’t talk about problems when we’re winning. We won today, we got into it. We need to keep building on this. No one cares if you’re tired or not. You’re at a tournament. That’s the mindset.
This tournament is no different from the hundreds of LANs that came before it. The stress and pressure for a spot at the Major has subsided. You need to play well at this tournament with a clear mind, without feeling stressed. I don’t know if we’ll manage it or not. We’ll see. Maybe the cameras picked up that the emotions aren’t the same as they were in Rotterdam. We need to get pumped up, artificially energize ourselves.”
According to Jame Ali, his team secured the victory against Legacy at PGL Bucharest fairly easily, despite
PARIVISION’s struggles early in the match. Nevertheless, the esports player acknowledged that his team is susceptible to stress and pressure, which is why he hopes that at PGL Bucharest, the
PARIVISION roster will be able to overcome this issue.
As a reminder, Duncan “Thorin” Shields previously named Jame Ali as a key player on the
PARIVISION Counter-Strike 2 roster.
