Jame “Jame” Ali cited a prolonged lack of practice as one of the reasons for
PARIVISION’s elimination from the PGL Astana Counter-Strike 2 tournament.
The player shared this opinion in an interview with HLTV.
“You can always find plenty of excuses. One of them is that we hadn’t played in a long time, so the first match was chaotic, and we were a bit nervous. 9z is a strong opponent.
We won the second match against Fisher College, and the third match against Aurora was scheduled for an early time slot. I think we didn’t quite adapt to those schedule changes. We blew the first map, and we could have taken the second one, but we still lost. We put up a fight against G2, which overall can be considered good progress in this tournament.
For our team, this is just the first season. Honestly, no one should expect anything from us yet. All the pressure we feel, we create ourselves because of past results. But in reality, we have room to grow; we have a lot of work ahead of us.”
Acording to Jame Ali, in their first match at PGL Astana, his team faced a fairly strong opponent, and after defeating Fisher College, the team lost their next match against
Aurora because the
PARIVISION players were affected by the inconvenient schedule. Nevertheless, the esports player noted that this is only the first season for his team, but in anticipation of rapid progress, the roster is putting unnecessary pressure on itself.
As a reminder, Dastan “dastan” Akbaev previously stated that roster changes are possible at
PARIVISION due to a lack of progress among some of the players.
